I am struggling to understand what the right is specifically against in this bill. The insurance companies are now behind it (they've always been for the prospect of wider private coverage). I understand conservatives are anti-tax, so the additional tax on higher incomes is one of their points. But, the final bill did not include one of the key points that they opposed - the public option.

Looking at the particulars, is the best argument that the right can come up with is that Congress is not affected (nor is ANYONE with existing employee plans), and that some aspects don't start soon enough? Not exacting damning evidence that the bill is so...socialist.
