notice this and I stop:

I never called you stupid. What has been put in some texts on the subject is blatantly false and continues to appear, even though thoughtful biologists will tell you it is no longer believed. The nice thing about categorizing others as kooks is you get to live in a self-reinforcing bubble.

I admit that MUCH exists beyond my understanding or comprehension. This is the position of a scientist.

The likes of Dawkins, Gould and others have no room in their world for things that they aren't in command of -- know with certainty. Dawkins in particular quit doing "science" a long time ago -- but instead chose to focus on religion -- trying to stomp out Christianity to replace it with his own. So be it.

One reason I prefer physics -- we know we are trying to simply describe the world the best we can -- everything is up for grabs and subject to revision if new data comes in that shows "dear" theories are false or not precise.

Biologists for the most part are so dang dogmatic -- mostly about a lot of stuff that is terribly complex. The same arrogance is found in the climate area as well.

May you grow enough to ask some GOOD questions about these things that you are confident of -- but have no expertise in ... instead of calling those who are not afraid to ask: KOOK.

Have a nice day.
