The Republican who spent nearly $2,000 of Republican National Committee (RNC) funds at a Los Angeles nightclub known for simulated bondage scenes and nudity was indentified Monday as Erik Brown, CEO of Dynamic Marketing Inc.

The club, Voyeur West Hollywood, is one of the hottest nightspots in a city known for glamorous clubs, which attracts a celebrity clientele willing to pay what one patron said was $550 a bottle for liquor. Other patrons described semi-nude female performers acting out sex acts in glass cases, and women hanging from the ceiling in nets.

The Daily Caller, which first identified the questionable expenditure, reports that Brown most recently charged a GOP gubernatorial campaign more than $10,000 for flyers and mailings. As of Monday afternoon, Brown's Twitter page appeared to have been taken down.

An RNC spokesman acknowledged the expense at Voyeur West Hollywood and said the monies would be returned.

He also said the report erroneously hinted that RNC Chairman Michael Steele visited the club. "The chairman was never at the location in question; he had no knowledge of the expenditure, nor does he find the use of committee funds at such a location at all acceptable," the spokesperson said. "Good reporting would make that distinction crystal clear. The committee has requested that the monies be returned to the committee and that the story be corrected so that it is accurate.”

The RNC has dealt with a series of stories calling into question its use of funds. The Daily Caller report also stated that Steele looked into buying a private jet.

>>" The fact that they don't tells me that they don't give a shit. And neither do you. It's just a pissing contest to you guys. The more conservatives you can piss on, the better. "<<

Tsk, tsk, so bitter...stop watching your Beck CD collection and listening to your copies of Palin speeches...you will feel better.

And oh yes, I have a limited amount of p*** to waste. Can you tell me where the next John Birch Society meeting will be held.
Which strip club will it be at and will I be able to see the latest conservative Powerpoint pitch on "Family Values" before I urinate?
