Jlallen, Republicans are accused of being "extremists" only because liberals have shifted the midpoint of big government further to the left. Most Americans aren't going to like it when premiums shoot through the roof, but that's the price they'll be forced to pay because the Democrats want to insure the uninsured. Some like Alghieri won't mind because they think being "charitable" means being a Democrat. But I believe most Americans are going to see right through this fiasco and will vote accordingly. And some Democrats know it too, which is why they're claiming these days they'll do the "right thing" even if it costs them re-election. Of course, that only means it's all about ideology ...
