Mark McLeod - I think a sale via a brokerage firm or institutional holder is very possible. It would certainly be an efficient means to unload a multi million share position in whole or part. She may also engage in some type of hedging transcation where she sells calls and then uses proceeds to buy puts. This type of no cost collar could be done and then 90% of value lent out to her as the lender, (bank or brokerage firm) has np principal risk b/c of the puts. Recently done in several major public companies, e.g., Worldcom.
