And when premiums are shooting through the roof as they have been for years, that will be blamed on Obama also???

Ted, > And what proof do you have that "premiums will shoot through the roof" other than the GOP's questionable grasp of economics.

The GOP has a much better grasp on economics than the Democrats do.

Premiums will be shooting through the roof. That to me is an inevitability. Various reasons why I believe so. Main reason is that the Baby Boomers are starting to retire.

This is why I think universal health care is an inevitability. It's way too late to tell people to take ownership of their own retirement and their own health care costs, so the only other way is via government takeover.

ObamaCare just hastened this inevitability. It does absolutely NOTHING to reduce costs (shifting numbers from one accounting category to another doesn't count), but it does everything to increase demand.

> BTW is shooting thru the roof the health care equivalent of the sky is falling? Just askin'.

Let's get one thing straight here. The sky isn't falling. Even with socialized medicine, America will still live on, albeit in a form that resembles Europe more than emerging economies like China and India.
