In Southern California, most workers - plumbers, electricians, gardeners, mechanics, carpenters, painters, bus boys, etc., are Mexicans. They work hard and are honest. I've never had a problem. People say they take the jobs here. They do the jobs no one else wants to. The ones taking the jobs are in India, Japan, Korea and China.

I blame Canada.

We import Jamaican seasonal farm workers instead of Mexicans.

That explains it. I thought I caught a whiff of ganja while riding through the Okanagan last fall.
