I cannot imagine that could ever happen without a mammoth revolt by firearm and ammo manufacturers, as well as the NRA and many other Americans... otherwise, it will be repealed, these nut cases have to be removed ASAP, they're trampling on the very fiber of our nation... these lunatics are igniting a civil war... (You do know, don't you?, that TREATIES must first be RATIFIED by 2/3 majority vote of the US Senate before they are in effect? That a President can't just 'enact' one by fiat.) And that DOMESTIC laws are a very different matter then treaties governing international actions.... And, (one small last point), that the term "consensus" would mean that EVERY NATION would have to agree....
