You might want to look at a couple of other threads as well:

Solar Power--focus is strictly solar, although it includes all solar companies (and I seem to be the main contributor right now, and it has been especially uneven after I sold the last of my solar stocks a number of months ago--however, you might find some articles of interest in the archives there):
Subject 56646

Alternative energy--far more wide-ranging than the Solar Power thread, and a lot more contributors, some of whom are pretty knowledgeable:
Subject 50902
Wind is also discussed on that thread, as well as geothermal, batteries, and other issues related to alternative energy generally.

There are also some not very active threads for individual companies like STP, SPWRA, FSLR, and ESLR, among others.

And there are a couple of threads that don't focus on solar as such but on Chinese companies, hosted by Julius Wong, for example:
Subject 53604
and
Subject 53540

As you know, China is the home to a lot of solar stocks, and the government there is making a big push to become the leading provider of solar technology in the world. Both solar and wind stocks are mentioned on Wong's threads sometimes, although he talks about more than just those kinds of companies.

This thread--The New Economy and its Winners--occasionally has postings on solar and wind as well:
