No unfunded spending going on now?....few, if anyone, other than you on this thread believes the piss poor financial projections coming out of D.C. Any institution that continues to "function" in a monetary vacuum is adverse to nature and should become extinct....we are clearly on the fast tract to ruin now.

Oh, I see, only Bush and Reagan are to blame for our excessive and irresponsible spending. Must be nice to live in lala land where reality is not important. My point is the Reagan tax cuts and Bush tax cuts plus unfunded spending from those Administrations put us in this deep hole. We should not blame the SS program or Medicare for this problem.

Oh bummer! Don't worry! King Hussein will solve all the financial problems. Here is a good start. One in four elderly will need someone else to make their end of life decisions for them. One guess who that some one else will be. OK so it won't be called a death panel. It could be called the quality of life panel. Main purpose will be to save medical costs.
