Hold on there cowboy....

are you suggesting that these guys AREN'T right wing nut jobs?

just look at the video on their website:

youtube.com

I have been a Christian for 40 years and I can tell you some of the wackiest folks on the planet are bible toters.

Are there any news events that you take at face value without pigeon-holing them into some conspiracy?

All the guy in the article said was "They then allegedly intended to use improvised explosive devices and possibly missiles to attack either the funeral procession or the funeral itself"

The operative word in the sentence is POSSIBLY.

After watching the video on their website I have little doubt that these wannabe warriors for Jesus would just love to own and operate one of these:

SHOULDER LAUNCHED MISSILES

Professor Lazarus - flea trainer extraordinaire

I've waited a few days for people to pick up on the nuances of this NYTimes article:
nytimes.com

click on the mug shot image in the story and pay particular notice to the date of the link.
It's dated April 20, 2010...
Far in the future.

IMHO, this event was probably not scheduled to go down for another few weeks.

Someone in the stratosphere had the obituary of this gang prepared a long time ago.
