I think earnings report is already discounted

Keep watching. AMD often has a runup sometime during the couple of weeks prior to reporting. I agree however that the overall markets being at highs here might negate that pattern.

Took some profit here and continue to watch S&P. I have so many sell signals in market indices and ETFs that I have to be guarded here. See if AMD can close above 9.50 today. I expect S&P to close sharply down today.
