Don't worry about Obama "snubbing" Canada. The Canadian enviros are blocking an oil pipeline to the west coast for export to Asia, so we're the only market for the Alberta oil sands. Our enviros tried to stop it from coming into the USA, but those pipeline projects are still going ahead full steam. The problem is that Canada can't make up for the other potential import losses looming in the future.
