There was a projection of future balances, or in other words a guess. Ok mr webster...we agree. There was a projection of $5B surplus for the coming decade. He wiped that out with two tax cuts, an 1/2T entitlement program and two wars, one of which was completely unnecessary. OK now? Of course actual debt was added, but the rate was much slower before the Democrats took power in congress, All of the above were implemented BEFORE dems took power in congress...mr revisionist. Al
