Our very existence is at stake with Global Climate Change accelerating but our leaders won't act accordingly...Instead we get Let's Drill baby Drill...!! And today it's 77 Degrees in Chicago (when about 50 is normal for this time of year)....Hmmm...

By the way, Alaska just paid back all the money they borrowed from the Permanent Fund reserve account. So Alaska has about 45 billion now (9 billion in the reserve account)and all Alaskan's still pay no taxes and everyone will get about a $1,500 check in the mail this month. Social systems all up and running, except where the Repulicans took away things like the state workers pension plans and made them private, just like the right wingrs like. The state troopers are raising hell, right now to get a state pension plan reinstituted. I expect a huge fight from the right wing. We are rich, we can pay dediated state wokers a pension. Private pensions are a rip off, like the bank student loan program! We are running budget surpluses. Four years in a row now. Good liberal consitution and social programs-lol.
