Gold or any rare metal as money will hinder growth as the world population is growing about 3% to 3.5% a year (frightening)

This is my proposal as harsh as it may sound. (on this I agree with Mao)

The first steps to economic stability would be harsh penalties on those couples having more than 3 children (one boy will be counted 1.5 girl to eliminate preferences for boys) - let say woman or men sterilization or both - this would arrest the population growth and thereafter it may be possible to introduce precious metals as "money" freely exchangeable the world over.

World population MUST shrink by at least 1/3 from today to make life sustainable. This will do miracles for pollution and food supply and almost eliminate poverty and bring the humans in the world more in balance. - just imagine all those traffic jams with 1/3 less people - and this would include Shanghai and Mumbai

(it is a simplistic explanation, but leaving things as they are, will bring to famine, wars and probably nature imposed population shrinkage - destruction of wild habitat for food has a long lasting effect that is difficult to measure. Scarcity of fossil energy and clean water are the first signs )
