All these adjustments are for past service costs. Cat's, AT&T's, etc.

There will additional expense required in every future quarter, as well for current service costs.

These adjustments are calculated as the increased in deferred tax liability resulting from the future non-deductibility of drug costs for (a) retired individuals, and (b) that portion of the expense for their current work force related to wages paid prior to the effective date.

Future adjustments will involve smaller amounts, which will be for the current work force prospective amounts only.

It is, in effect, an additional tax on the American People. Some of whom are living at the poverty level and below.

Not really. What is being changed is a tax credit.
