The entire human species are barbarians....

Your dazed delusions long ago grew tiresome.

Myself, mine, and my neighbors sleep warm and mostly secure, travel in comfort, eat fresh grub year around. Shortly I'll board a miraculous machine that'll carry me to a far away country. There I expect competent medical services at a price I can afford. This is the discovery process of competition at work, further improving everyone's condition.

Compared to any prior century, things are pretty damn good, generally getting better -- even despite the scum who would impose controls. The benefits are increasingly available to more and more of the earth's population.

Those bennies emanate from undirected human action; folks spontaneously escaping a barbarian past through commerce.

You babble long and loud, but have no clue.

I always say, the brass ring of wisdom is being aware of one's ignorance

Yes.. Man's got to know his limitations... to overcome them...
