It doesn't matter whether they informed anyone of their tax deductions, your claim that companies were only pretending to insure their employees is still wrong.

Secondly, companies are subject to financial constraints. Making the cost of insuring employees higher to companies will inevitably result in some of them dropping the coverage thats been made more expensive.
