When oil was $100 a barrel there was a stampede to get rigs working.....sea borne rigs were booked for and they started building new ones as fast as they could.....when prices fell so did the number of rigs... No, I am not saying never drill but I am saying we don't need to drill in those areas now since it really won't make any difference with regard to the amount we use daily and annually. It's a drop in the proverbial bucket. Your familiar with the peak oil curve, I'm sure.
