Hi Zeev, >>Iomega and Syquest, it seems the battle is reopening, now we have the reverse, SYQT is the pauper with determination, is Iomega resting on its Laurels?

I am watching. The thing that put me on to Syquest's failure was their enginnering. This group never understood "design for manufacturability". I was in contact with both companies, including the directors of engineering, when the zip hit the streets, and it was clear the Syquest engineering group was in trouble. Iomega had the Bernoulli which had outlived its capability to be enhanced and Iomega spent two painful years investigating two technologies. The Director of engineering at that time was one of the best I have seen in the industry. He saved the company, of course upper management has to be given credit to give him the budget to make it happen.
