Exactly right. It would be great if the Fed regulations could follow the lead of the best of breed state regulations, at least in some matters. Health care and broadband would be two areas that it might make sense. Do you think the Dems tried to do that by taking Romney's Massachusetts idea and passing a bill along those lines?

Financial reform, though, I'd rather see handled at the Fed level.
