oh bummer! What happens when the census workers are let go? When will that be? July? August? Not very good timing in my humble opinion. Better to keep them on the payroll until after November.

Close to 50K of that number was due to hiring related to the temporary employees hired for the U.S. Census.

Remember the real unemployment rate (U-6) rose for the third straight month to 16.9%.
