Bald eagles are so common here now people barely give them a notice. The decline in Raptors in the 40/60 time frame was due to hunting. Once Raptors were put on a banned list, they came back like mad. "Silent Spring" was a hoax. All you have to do to prove it is look at the Audubon Christmas bird counts during that period. Except for Raptors,they were all up. Worrying about their environment is a farce. You want to go birdwatching? Go to your nearest sewer plant.
