As usual, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Robert Rubin, Alan Greenspan, Arthur Levitt and Larry Summers killed regulation of the commodities markets during the 90's. The CFTC proposed regulating CDS's and other derivatives and provided a roadmap as to how an unregulated market could lead to financial disaster. With the help of Clinton, Rubin was able to kill this proposal and strip the CFTC of its regulatory powers over CDS's. Do you even know who Brooksley Born is?
