Bill,

Your record is amazing. I'm glad I'm in the same stock as you. :-)

I just have some January 10 calls, though when I sell them or generate other money, I'll probably buy more calls, further out.

Linda

RE: I started in this game in 1988 with $8,250 of my personal money. ... Now I have well over 1.5 million.

I started out in 1992 with $22K from a 401K. In just 4 weeks, I had only $12K (CGRM). Two months later, I had only $7500 (CNR). I should have taken investing 101 from a local college. The tuition would have been a lot cheaper. But, since then, I have done OK. I took the entire $7500, and put it in BORL near 7. I got out at about 11. Got in LSI at $30, and out at $60. Now, I have two investment accounts with about $60K of value and no margins. My single best investment was a house I purchased 1.5 years ago. We are selling the house for $100K more than I paid (Asking $310K). I am moving into another investment house that will likely yield the same return in about a year after we spend $30K in repairs.

Hopefully, in 4 more years, I will have built as strong a portfoilio as you. As far as BORL, I own 1100 shares I bought at 6.25. 10 Nov 12.5's at 3/16. 10 Jan 98 10's at $1. 10 Jan 99 10's at 1 5/8. And I just recently added 10 Jan 99 20's at 7/8. I am very pleased with the return of this investment. But, I think that this is only the beginning for BORL. I would like to see the Jan 98 10's above 2. I think that I will move that money into Jan 2000 15's. As you can see, I am bullish on BORL.
