I won a 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo tourney last night. Only 63 players in this one. I played horribly for the first hour, then started playing like I was Superman. I also got real lucky. When it came down to mano a mano, I was way ahead when my luck decided to go on vacation. The other guy clobbered me on two huge hands and I suddenly just had a third of his chip stack. But, I had to play smart after that and climbed back up to beat him.

I got more Tournament Leader Points for the 4th place finish on the NLHE contest than for winning this one. Not that I ever expect to get anything from those tourney boards. Too many people willing to play multiple tourneys all day long. I appreciate them, though, as most only concentrate on the one where they are doing best and they become dead money in their other games.
