HRB: Long term, I think they'll continue to lose share to TurboTax packaged/online software. TurboTax seems to have hit the marketing nail on the head: offer free online returns for SIMPLE returns. This lets them build customer base and loyalty at the cost of some cannibalization at the low end. I also like the razor blade effect of making me buy again every year. There's a small barrier to entry from the cost to each user to switch software. I appreciate not having to enter repeat info and prior year info each year.
