Congress has the power to pass laws...they have done so. That's constitutional...

Have you looked? Where did you see the Canadian data? When deaths due to hospital mistakes rank as the 4-5 cause of death in this country, that is something the US does poorly....

We have the highest survival rate from breast cancer but the lowest survival from colon cancer....survey of 7-10 major countries in the world.

Ask the insurance companies, I believe that at the moment some people are being refused insurance because of obesity. And BTW, obesity is not the only thing related to Type II diabetes... Diabetes has been around a lot longer than obesity.
