There you go again. It wasn't rammed through. There were several votes, or have you forgotten? Yes, there was some opposition. This is hardly new. And the gestures were hardly tokens. Much of the contents of the bill were proposed by Republicans, including the mandate.

Yes, I realize that the talking heads have claimed differently. But they don't seemed to be bound by reality.
