Well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Not a fan of insuring against every possible conceivable risk scenario - willing to take measured risks: driving an auto over the speed limit on crowded Interstates, living in an ozone non-attainment zone, eating red meat, buying penny stocks off of the Pink Sheets, thinking like a Neanderthal, being a trader, etc.

Thank you for providing those two links with the associated information. That information was helpful, as after analysis of the data the path forward seems clearer.

Me thinks you would like Chapter 20 of Martenson's Crash Course as he lays out a rational and framework for action for managing the future risk:

At this point what would be useful is specifics, that which would aid me in reading a bank's Balance Sheet and deciphering banking accounting speak, risk, ratios, omissions or other measures.
