Typhoon: This really has little to do with naivite. It was just a short few days ago that the number of MM's apearing on level II was 6 or seven. I take it that those who have posted that they have access to level II do and that this number has now grown to some 14. Am I to believe they are all helping out the shorts or do you suppose that some of them are really soes day traders following a lively play along with some river boat gambler types and the change in bid and ask prices actually reflect orders being placed at the time. Once the number of players increases it becomes more difficult for a single MM to have control over anything other than his book.

I have not been following the time between indiviual trades but even allowing for intentional delays by some it does not appear that there is a steady stream of buy orders or sell orders all during the trading day but instead sporadic spurts of activity that dry up. This results in what many of you call walking up and down. Just MOPO.

In any event have fun with this puppy and best of luck to all.
