If McCain hadn't been such a do gooder, and instead pointed out the radical associations of The One, we probably wouldn't be in this mess.

For crying out loud............it was important. I have little respect for McCain because he refused.

I don't find Obama's habit of filibustering questions instead of answering them a sign of weirdness. I think it's a sign of his political immaturity and general inability to engage with opposition ideas. Obama is always setting up strawmen arguments and trying to prevent questions instead of answering them.

Obama has spent his whole life getting by without learning the details and snowing people if they question him. It's what comes natural by now. It's just becoming apparent to more people now that he's been in office a while.
