Jim; If they fired them all, how many applications do you think they would have for say. 60k a year? I bet thousands. Then do just that! If you can do it to all the flight control guys why can't you do it to 350 garbage collectors? AND whose fault is it if management approves the contract? I don't understand why this is the fault of the union - they are representing their workers Dah. And is it the fault of the workers who are do an awful job for trying to get more? How can you attack workers for trying to improve their condition in life?
