I've just a few minutes tonight - I've been in three diffrent cities in as many days, and I'm leaving for a 2 day technology conf. in Houston Friday morning. I wished I could respond by saying that thinkology is setting sales records - its not - product introductions in our market don't at first. But, I can say this - we never dreamed that a product introduction would have ever generated the kind of interest that Thinkology has. Monday I met with one of the, if not the largest home schooling organizations in the country. They want to license Thinkology for sales to their market - as they said - "free money" for Heartsoft given it would take us five years to develop the 80,000+ home schools they have. Another of the oldest and largest children's publisher wants a proposal, "there must be some way for us to work together..." and on and on. I can tell you this, that we will be doubling the size of our sales staff by January and we will be bringinbg on a highly experienced and successful sales and marketing manager to handle the growth of our sales division. For you technoids like myself, it took about 8 months to finish Thinkology's first volume, Clarity, the second, Accuracy, is in final testing this week, it took 10 weeks to finish. And Logicalness, will complete the series in January. With the competion of all 3, we can start filling the orders that have beening coming in for the whole series, a $1,000 package. With Thinkology's introduction in October, we tried to limit sales to volume 1, Clarity, but educators began ordering the whole series - so pressure has been on development to finish it. Heartsoft has taken on a whole new image - its really a whole new company - with the maturing of our sales organization, the final "missing" link to Heartsoft's growth will be in place. Licensing income alone for the last calendar quarter is expected to be over $350,000. I wish I could speed this whole process up faster for you guys, but this industry moves with a little more calcualation than others and schools have got to evaluate products before they do adoptions. The Thinkology pilots will add a tremendous amount of credibility to the product line and pre- and post-testing of the students in the pilots will give our sales organization more "gasoline" for the sales engine. Give us a call if you need more info - I will be back in next Monday. Warmest regards, Benjamin Shell, Heartsoft.
