"In particular, the idea that Congress had exempted themselves and their aides from the HCR provisions was posted here just recently. Jim was alluding to it when he said he wished he could get the same healthcare deal as Congress."

well lets face reality, will any of them wait in line?? who gets the best and timely healthcare in Cuba, the old soviet union ??

Politicians and hockey players. Today most people can get as good as care as them, not so in the future, they will know who to call and we won't.

They can call the CEO of AT&T and shake them down if they don't like a bill or their profit margins. can you ?

Spin this anyway you want to, but it's reality

I am not sure they had to include themselves, just not include themselves. Not sure, but I think they have to specifically include that the government and its employees be included. As it is they and the government employees have a seperate health care plan. Again I am not sure about this because of the number of changes and amendments made to this bill.
