Yeah my take is that every one of these guys uses ends justifies the means..

Yep.. But some of them I can agree with, or at least associate my ideas.

T. Boone Pickens has been pushing increased use of Nat Gas as a means of decreasing our dependency on foreign oil. And he has his "Pickens Plan" and "Pickens Army" to help in advancing his agenda. Consequently he's invested in Nat Gas companies.

But we all know he owns Nat Gas investments and has a vested interest in promoting Nat Gas and his plan makes sense (all but the wind power aspect). It's not based on "voodoo" climate science", but national security interests, something that most of us can actually understand and relate to.

And as China and India consume ever increasing quantities of oil, it's going to become imperative that we explore feasible alternatives, where possible, as well as increased domestic oil/gas exploration until such time that electric or hydrogen power is viable on a mass scale.
