I agree with you comments. GNMA's are rate sensitive and I'll have to carefully look into this type of investment. I think Preferred dividends should do ok as the corporation's financial statements, especially the balance sheets, should strengthen as the economy improves. I think the same holds true for RIETS.

I'm going to see my broker tomorrow and see what he has to offered. However, the decision as to what to do will rest with me.

Will post my conclusions as soon as I decide what to do. Heck, I may end up keeping my bond funds and riding this interest cycle to it's conclusion.

What fun. :(
