It's a shame that pols need to raise those sums. I think they should adopt Google's motto, "Don't be evil". This would exclude the (R)'s entirely, but the (D)'s could do it by taking money and carrying water for special interests that aren't themselves "evil". Let the (R)'s have all the "evil money". Then, the (R)'s could legitimately be called "the party of the evil, anti-American money","The party that works for Satan" and "The party that works for the companies you hate that are making you sick and picking your pocket".
