Re: "Democrat and Republican are as far apart as communism and capitalism."

I don't think either branch of the 'Republi-Crats' are as far apart as Communism and Capitalism are!

Re: "Socialism and Communism is as far apart as a pair of gay democrat lovers."

Better check with "Pro" about that one... (I haven't a clue what you are on about there.)

One thing I will suggest though is that we may be using some different sources for our internal 'definitions'.

For example: the connotation of what "Socialist" means in the US is usually quite different from what it means to most of Europe --- where the majority of the ruling political parties are, and have been for many years, avowedly 'Social Democrats' or "Christian Democrats' or some similar concatenation (all with "Socialism" officially as part of their DNA....)

Just as the term "Liberal" means VERY DIFFERENT things to many people in the US, compared to what it means in most of the rest of the world.

For example, in Canada, in Europe, in Russia, in Asia, etc., "Liberal" means a supporter of the "Anglo-Saxon" brand of CAPITALISM, and a supporter of Democracy (vs. Authoritarianism).

So there is often a pretty wide gulf in understanding when Americans try to read and understand what others in the rest of the world are talking about....
