Wrong. It IS new.

That's the entire issue. Never have individuals been required to purchase a product. This isn't being argued by anyone at all who understands the issue.

There have been all kinds of liberal arguments put forth -- Car insurance, Medicare, etc., but none is similar to what has been mandated.

It is less than a 50/50 shot, apparently, that the legislation is thrown out -- not on its merits, but because the Supreme Court doesn't like to throw out legislation like this.

All I can say is thank god the Court has moved to a more partisan court; there is a t least a chance they'll kill this horrible legislation.

Not at all. The individual is buying the insurance with his own funds from a private corporation. Its a private transaction forced by law, not a government contract.

kind of like Medicare Advantage.

Medicare Advantage is optional.
