I say the way we use carbon based fuels is bad. We use them without regard to the consequences and we don't price in the externalities. So although some industries benefit, the economy on the whole is not as profitable as it could be.

So if we are to judge what is bad, then we should do it with market economic theories. Do you remember what externality means from college?
