I understand your general direction, but the US is the worlds largest exporter in dollar terms and the 3rd largest exporter of merchandise.

I'd actually argue that our standard of living would go up if we bought less of that low quality crap featured at wallmart, but that's just me.

I agree that the yuan will appreciate, but very slowly. A weak dollar is generally a positive to our economy.
