TJ your family was indeed fortunate to have lived through and then escaped Mao's Cultural Revolution.... A friend of mine, now passed away, spent most of his youth living under his fathers cot in a one room situation for 4 people, times were incredibly tough and extraordinairly dangerous... Your parents had to be very, very astute, living on the edge that long is remarkable. I'm sure you have some very vivid memories of those times although I suspect you were very young... I am happy for you and your families survival through that ordeal.... Regards
