Of course it surprised you. Here's a man who is actually talking about the issues instead of personal attacks. You've certainly not seen it from the Left before, so it isn't surprising you're shocked by it.

QUOTE OF THE DAY...." I have to admit, this took me by surprise. I remember where Coburn was running on the issue of rampaging lesbianism in the public schools. He claimed that there were middle schools where they wouldn't allow more than one girl to go to the restrooms at a time. Apparently because the fear of spontaneous scissor parties... I know. I was surprised too. Something is going on....several Rs during the past two weeks have eased up on the rhetoric. Maybe its because of all the threats of violence. One of the senators here in WA state was threatened this weekend. The guy has been picked up and thrown in jail. Maybe its suddenly dawned on them that there are some crazy people out there just waiting to be encouraged.
