OH, there are several other reasons:

1. Iraq has a lot more oil than everyone else including possibly Saudi Arabia..

2. They were an easy target and couldn't defend themselves.
3. Iraq is a great place to run a war....flat dessert great for tanks...Iraq had no air force...
4. It gave Jr. an opportunity to avenge the attempt on 43's life..
5. It was easy to make the public believe that Saddam was a key player in 9/11
6. There were no WMD's......UN inspectors told us that as recently as 2 weeks before we invaded...
