All excellent questions, let's see if I can address one at a time... Okay, 1194.60 is the vertical price, in the header of this thread I explain what a vertical price is, but simply stated it's a price above the market where the core selling exists... therefore, a rally to that price is a low risk short, and a close above that price would not issue a sell signal... vertical prices have nothing to do with trend lines, gaps, or any other traditional technical assessments, this is something extremely accurate and all original work on my model... Now, why today (or tomorrow) of all days? This is because each rally or decline has a life expectancy which is determined by the movement of the market itself... April 8th was already determined to be the end of this rally back in early February when the market made its last low... this is the model, and it's remarkably accurate over the long term... Just because a sell signal may be triggered, it doesn't mean the market will collapse... we could see only one or two days of retracement... or we could see something more severe, there is no way of knowing what to expect, but if and when the market turns back up a buy signal will also be triggered quickly so the rally would not be missed at all...
