Hey, my first job was working for Chrysler in the 80s in Detroit as a production supervisor (a/k/a foreman) on the assembly line. I know unions well. My subordinates were of UAW Local 0007, one of the first in the USA. Low seniority was 26 yrs; high 44 years! I was a minority in every sense of the word.
