"Foreign Government stole innnocent people's money" No, they only froze the GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTS of Iceland. NO PRIVATE ACCOUNTS were frozen.... "... to pay off their depositors who didn't have insurance to begin with. Although the article doesn't come out and say nobody had insurance before the default, it's clear they didn't...." Not clear to me. 1) the article NEVER SAID that they "was no deposit insurance". And, 2) I posted a link to the particulars of the Deposit Insurance program.....
