Palladium is not quite as scarce as Platinum, but almost so.

The price was depressed due to overhang of stock piled Russian supply. Rumor is that supply has played out.

Chinese auto production waaaayyy up.

China is gasoline powered for the most part auto nation.

Gasoline = palladium catalyst.

Soooo.... short supply lots of demand.

Go figure.
